This year, on the occasion of the International Day for the elimination of violence against women, November 25th, HDI decided to install a red bench in the area under Palazzo Italia, headquarter of HDI in Rome EUR; the bench remained there one week and then it was “adopted” by the Company’s own office.
A symbolic gesture to say every day “NO” to the violence against women.

The objective is to keep and raise the awareness, through communication and proximity activities, on the violence against women, still too much persistent and widespread. Often, the violence goes largely unpunished because of the silence, connivance and shame: love is never violence. We remind the toll-free help-line 1522 for women.
